Coon and fox have been known to bury their kill (hide it) so they can come back later for it. You hear of the occasional coyote doing it, but they generally just take the bird and leave. Point is that if it took time to bury the bird it will be back to finish it later. Good time for a trap.yes sir...... it was covered in hay... is this a thing?
