Official Squatch Watchers

Long post: So, tomorrow I am meeting a lady to get a Black, a Wheaten and a “pet quality lavender with sun bleaching” Ameraucanas. They are 6 months and laying. While I am very excited and love my birds, I almost feel like I am giving my birds the death sentence, if the Merek’s hunch is true.

Now, I want to make myself feel better. If it was Merek’s, it was probably in my soil the entire time, or something??? The reason those 3 reds started picking on 1, could it have been early Merek’s? When I have another death, I will do a biopsy and know for sure. When I bought my chicks at the Co-op, someone could have petted the chicks and transferred the virus. I know I will never have the answers. But, I am moving on I suppose.
I support you.

I am full up on freeloaders.... I mean valuable and rare layers of invisible eggs.

No adding for me unless I process some out. These are now 95% under 3 years old.
I have 35 birds. 26 are female.

I am getting one egg per day.

My current oldest is three years old, and a bantam. The rest are under two.

Hey y'all guess which squatcher household has the stomach flu? Yep lucky me! I don't have it yet but hubs does, he finally passed out so I'm checking in.
Dear god. When men go down they go down HARD. good luck tonight.
If I were you I’d increase my salt intake even if it meant licking it off my hand and start hydrating in advance.
