My BFF’s husband had to throw away some underwear at work!! Hahaha! He never took again after that!

Gosh. The poor janitor.

I read an article yesterday about a flight that had to turn around. The pilot announced that there was a lavatory malfunction and the liquid feces could not be flushed.

I often forget i have treats stuffed down my bra from when I take my dog for a walk. More than once I've leaned forward (later in the day) --say at a store-- and had something fall out.
...yeah, I've had a few looks.

Never know when you might need a snack!

Smuvs Laugh of the Day!

SO, me and the DH had put the taterholes to bed about an hour ago. All we hear from the bathroom is a buncha little cheep cheeps and twittering..... DH yells *Turn off the tv and go to bed!* through the door... I laugh. We go in to put them back under their MHP.

DH scoops one up... HOLY TATERS... it has a HUGE lump on the right side of it's chest.... scoop up a second one... ANOTHER lump!!! One by one, we check all the tateholes and they ALL have a tatering lump on the right size of their chests... to varying degrees!!

OMG, THEY ALL GOT TUMAHHHHS!!

We get pics, I come out to BYC and do a double check, while DH is in the background, all worried about *maybe having to put them all down*... he's pacing... sheesh

It's a FULL CROP!!! Holy taterballs... we have 6 friggen flocks, hatched out 3 sets of eggs and have NEVER seen this before.... never.... our taterholes are being little piggies and just got very full crops.....

I'm laughing my ass off... DH is still confused since we hadn't seen this before.... and I tell him we can check them when we wake up in the morning but they should all be flat again.

Such AWESOME chicken farmers we are...

In other news, i got a fourth egg and it was in the nest box like the last one! I think she has the hang of it!

get some CX if you want to see full crops... or a BB turkey.. my bbb had a pendulous crop.. would hang down to her knees

I have a really mixed flock. No plans on breeding so I can do that.
2 Brown Leghorns (5+ y/o), Barnyard Mix, 2 Black Copper Marans, 2 Wheaten Ameraucana (all 1), Olive Egger, Svart Hona B. Cochin cross, 3 Swedish Flower Hens, Bantam Cochin (all hatched this year) And 2 Swedish Flower Roosters.
White eggs, pinkish egg, Dark Brown Speckled egg (grade 4), Olive egg (of course) Cream eggs, no egg yet from my littlest lady (even though she was laying before I got her)

Gorgeous! I used to have an egg basket like that... SIGH. You southerners make me awful jealous this time of year. Maybe it's time to become a snowbird, eh?
