Hubby's test results in past on all but 1 white blood count must come up to a 5 at least, but still Monday discharge definitely if all goes good

I have considered the baking soda and vinegar method. Thought about making a mask of sorts out of a balloon and water bottle. Then hose to the container with the mixture. My biggest worry would be not using enough.

I don't know how much snow we actually received, but it's definitely piled up on our porch, on the back deck and in the coops and run. DH went outside first thing, to defrost the run waterer and set up another roost in the run.... which now has the chickens out in droves!

Possibly! My wife thinks I'm crazy because I go out back to work the fluffy butts in nothing but a house robe and flip flops even when it's 20 out

Today, as I watched the DH throw on a balaclava, scull cap, 2 sweatshirts, jacket, gloves, etc etc... and I toss a windbreaker on over my t-shirt and sleep pants..., I am seriously looking at him with that cocked to the side head look... just wondering if he was gonna freeze in his spot....

PIC got totally SOAKED head to toe, playing in the snow. He made a snow angel, spent some time trying to slide down our icy drive, and basically went primal, throwing snow and screaming a lot....

The Bubbies went all primal too! Running around, trying to run and bounce through and over the snow drifts. They had a ball... and tuckered themselves out. We opened the run to let Buddy check out the chickens.... they weren't fearful of him and all he did was sniff their fluffy butts and lick/try to eat the poopcicles.

I made 12 egg muffins, 12 cheesecake muffins, 1 grain free pound cake (took 10 eggs wh00t!!!) and cleaned out some of the kitchen cabinets. I forgot to put my compression socks on before standing in the kitchen for so long, so it's definitely biting me in the ass right now...

I'm gonna try and get some pictures to post.

Lost another pullet today. This one had what i think are mites. Reddish looking and eggs on the base of the feathers. I feel so stupid, thought she was just failing from Mereks. So they all got dusted with poultry dust and i need some spray to use on the coop. I just feel awful!
