Good Morning....I'm a little worried this morning. Ester my Bluebar wouldn't come out of the coop this morning. She is always the first one out. She layed a soft shelled egg yesterday on the coop floor. She has been laying for about a month and this is the second soft shelled egg. They have both been elongated with a small hole at the tip. She seemed fine yesterday.......My DH will check on her at lunch as I will be at work all day ( 30 minutes away). Maybe she is going to lay another egg and that is why she didn't come out? :confused:

I use shredded chicken. Rotel, plus green chilies. I have never used the season packet, but probably easier.

Arhg, it's midterm week, and I mixed up the times I was supposed to be here, so I have an hour and a half to kill.

This morning, two birds were sleeping in the nesting box. They're normally the most well behaved. Ug.

Depending on what time she laid yesterday, that might be her plan this morning. Is there anyway you DH could give her a calcium boost today-like a tums?
