Show quality Silkies are stooopid. I do have one hatchery quality silkie rooster that's smart as as a whip and the flock leader. That's right I was thinking that's why people don't like them. It's because they are not too bright that people don't like them
I like most of her articles. Some of the older ones are unscientific nonsense though.Wow. That was a good one. Who knew oatmeal was such a bad thing?

I like my chickens to at least have the intelligence of a doorknob. But lots of people like them. Chickens are not known to have high IQs.
i think Purina wants to sell more feed. You need to add more protein so i save meat scraps. It is just a treat so you don't make them a big pot. Just a bit for a taste. The slop i made last night had a little bit of pasta shells, country rib meat, eggs and pumpkin in it. Adding some finely chopped apple this morning. Both flocks will get a bit.Wow. That was a good one. Who knew oatmeal was such a bad thing?
Oh Banty, you silly goose! First staplers now door knobs. At least they are smarter than guineas. We love them because they are chickens. If we want smart, we could adopt dolphins!I like my chickens to at least have the intelligence of a doorknob.
That doorknob is smarter than guineas. They aren't a high bar to jump. Actually, they're such a low bar that a Silkie could accidentally wander across it whilst running in circles due to a blue jay flying by.Oh Banty, you silly goose! First staplers now door knobs. Sigh. How is your weather Banty?
