Thanks for breakfast Henny, I appreciate it. I've been depressed, more than usual, and irritable the past few days. Bipolar depression taters. Trying to convince myself to get a shower in now before going to Dr appt... I'm not to convincing. Oh well, gotta do it, I guess. Y'all at y'all later.

Btw, Dr appt is to meet new Dr so I can get meds refilled.
:hugs :hugs

I totally understand. I hope your appt goes well.

Hello everyone!

Sadly, the Milk Drinker didn't sleep well last night, so neither did DH or I. He slept until 3:30am when he woke for his first feeding, but his nose was stuffy so he couldn't nurse well so he woke up more completely. He didn't really get back to sleep until 5:30 or 6 and woke up again around 8. He just went down for his nap. I wish I could join him, but I have to work *grumble-grumble*. I predict that he'll sleep for 3 hours or more. I hope he goes to sleep early tonight.

I gotta run and get a few things from the grocery store.

I may have to get some cookies......thanks Sam.
I also need to make nanner bread.

If anyone wants a good recipe I can post the zucchini brownies one later.
It is more like a moist chocolate cake. Not fudgy at all.
I'm placing my order thank you :hugs:wee

Smuvers, I'd opt for the camper, it's worth it. Overnight trips are easier to manage, you don't necessarily have to be in an rv park for overnight, and you'll have more quality experiences with pic while he's still at an age to be able to go at any time y'all get s wild hair up your tater. He'll also be able to look back on all the adventures and things he's been able to see/do, and be more adventuresome. That's one thing I miss, we had a travel trailer when I was a kid, and my dad would make us get 3 weeks of school work so we wouldn't be behind, and we'd be gone roaming the country, and even Canada, for those 3 weeks. It was pretty cool to see the national parks, and other things, or go rock hunting and panning for gold. Sometimes it wasn't the best time while we were gone, but I'm sure glad I had those opportunities.
@apryl29 this is our first home, mortgage and all. I keep thinking about moving to somewhere with more property however, if we can buy some of the neighbors property, I'd be OK with staying here. It's a toss up on whether or not I want more land, and start over AGAIN from scratch (although we only have about 2 years invested in here), or we want to save up for a pool and a camper to go to museums on weekend for the PIC.

Anansi, that's exactly what DH and I discussed and decided to do. I was hoping, when he retired, that he would be an OTR trucker, but that would take him away all week and then he'd be home on weekends, in his undies, playing vidyuh games and drinking beer. Nope, not interested! :gig

My mom has a roadster that is currently in my name. It's a 1997, and she isn't even sure IF it runs anymore, as it's been up on blocks for 2 years AND the battery has been dead. It needs repairs, but I'm not sure how much. I *might* be worth it to ship it here from FL.... but unless we knew how much was wrong with it, it sounds better to buy a reconditioned used one we already know works.
