Good morning all. Had a piece of cherry crumb pie for breakfast.....and......I put vanilla ice cream on it. Yep that's right! 7 AM and I ate pie a la mode.

We have had enough sickies this year already.

Its not even 6 am here yet. The house is nice and quiet. Just me awake at this point. I let the dogs out at 4am per their request and then they all went back to bed.

They are so sweet........when asleep.

I am hearing my big guys tummy make not good sounds. The other day he was very naughty. He stole 2/3rds of a ham steak out of the pan on the stove. I know it was him because I had the other dogs outside. His tummy has been messed up since.

Did he eat the little round bone that's often in a ham steak?

Yes he sure did Stacey. Yes it had me freaked out. I do not give bones let alone pork bones.

View attachment 1247748 My dogs tummy does that sometimes. The other night it woke me up out of a sound sleep. His stomach was making the strangest sounds and sooooo loud. Right now he is sleeping at the end of the bed. I need to make it but don't want to disturb him. Silly huh

Not silly at all.
We used to have a dog with a very sensitive tummy. He couldn't get people food or he'd get diarrhea. And he had to be fed at least 3 times a day or his stomach acid would go into overdrive and make him throw up.
In the early morning when the kids were still asleep and the house was quiet, the noises coming from his tummy sounded like people talking on an old radio.

Has it come out yet?

Not in bone form. He has had very soft stools. I pick up the poo every time any of them go so have been watching for fragments.

The vet said not to worry to much since he is such a big dog. She said he should be able to digest it.
