I don’t have silkies but my Wheatens have a nasally voice naturally. She is opening her beak a tad when she does it. So to me it looks like she’s doing on purpose. Do you have a stethoscope? Maybe listen to her neck and lungs and see if you hear anything that way. Some extra TLC never hurts but if it where me I’d wait and watch for now. (Closely)

Jump right in. No topic is off topic. “Tater” is used instead of other 4 letter words. PIC is Partner in Chickens. MD is Milk Drinker, breast feeding youngin.
We talk Chickens, food, family, poop, and pretty much anything else.
Thank you...I shouldn't stay away so long.
I was lost with the "tater" word!

The Silkie seems to be okay for now. She has been inside the house and has eaten some. The other day I went to TSC to buy pine flakes and they were out, so I bought the fine shavings instead. They could be what all this breathing is about?? Everyone else roosts except this Silkie and the grey one. All the chickens were piles up in the coop when I got home after lunchtime.
She should be fine....don't listen to these nutballs that were so quick to stay to start antibiotics.
:smack:smack:smack:smackTo those nutballs.

Hey gorgeous how's Spider baby doing today :frow
He’s doing well, but a bit clingy. I think he is going through a growth spurt or something.
My Main Best Human?
That is the first thing that popped in my silly head.
That is Smuv’s nick name for the Milk Drinker. Making My Boobs Hurt since that is what happens when she sees his pics.
