Ok, I went to have dinner and you guys posted four pages... coming from the guy who's eaten grubs, opossum goes to compost, I'm just not hungry enough. Raccoon I can manage even though it's pretty greasy.

Yes. They are very very small birds.

Hens are a tiny 20 oz with sebrights. Silkies hens are 32 oz so much larger then sebrights.

BC are rated at around 28 oz.

Many years ago we had 3 sebrights and yup all males. Had to keep them in a cage inside.
Very cute little tiny birds.

So not something you should have running around your property

Some people manage it but I personally think they are just to darn small and well flighted.
Those little buggers can really catch some air.

Maybe in a nice big run with lots of branches to hop up on?

I forget who posted it but one of our Squatchers has one in with her big birds.
