Good morning squatchy peoples!!

My flock that lost the leghorn is really quiet this morning.
I am sure she was the lowest ranking bird so I don't expect much of an upset there.
It is cold at just 11°.

Snowing a bit too.
I got the kennel cleaned early so I don't have to search through snow for poops. :sick

Going to hit the grocery stores today..........thinking DURING the game will Be a good time to go.

Puppy update:

She is still a hoot!
She is getting reactive to people at the door, strange things in the alley and anything that upsets me.
She likes laying in the sun and on good days spends some time lounging on the dogs porch. Yes they have a porch.

Oh and my Costco is now carrying the puppy food in store. We are doing a slow switch over.

Hello all,

Feeling somewhat better this morning, but between still being sick and the snow/freezing rain we decided to stay home from church.

Terribly sorry you're feeling down. I can empathize sweet Rae. It's wonderful that you are crocheting an afghan for your 2nd sister... sooo, mine should be coming soon?!? :D I await the link to the yarn colors with baited breath!!!

LOL, this one is probably going to take me a while and then I'm probably going to be tired of crocheting for a bit. The squares go quickly, the hard part in joining and finishing the edges. My SIL asked me to teach her how to join squares because she hates sewing them together. I don't blame her. I had to try several different methods of joining to find one I liked. I really like the Flat Slip Stitch joining method. The squares I'm making are Wheel Lattice squares. I'm using an I size hook and I'm doing the finishing row in dc (double crochet). I'll add another row of dc in Kelly green on the edges of the squares and stitch together in Kelly Green as well. This is the yarn I like to use, mostly because it is inexpensive and machine wash and dry. (https://www.joann.com/caron-natura-one-pound-yarn/prd23205.html#q=caron one pound yarn&start=1)

No Smuv, this isn't a link so you can pick out your colors :-P

:-p

I think YouTube has left handed teaching videos now. I had to learn from a friend and get a baseline knowledge before I could learn from text instructions.
