Official Squatch Watchers

This sweet doggie that I took in last year, her breath is so bad I don’t know how much longer I can stand it. I cannot brush her teeth or she will bite me. She has such a severe heart murmur, vet thinks she is about 12 and would not survive a teeth cleaning. Actually it would be a teeth pulling. It has always been bad, but I think it is worse now. Sigh.
My dog will not tolerate teeth cleaning and he is 14. Probably would cost a fortune to get them cleaned or pulled and could kill him. But man, it smells! I am considering mouthwash or toothpaste made of baking soda and peroxide with water.

Have you tried putting a little baking soda in her water

Between breath and dog farts, we are all about to vomit! My husband keeps a candle lit by his chair and a can of air freshener. :gig

Never heard of doing that. I know there is something to add to dogs water in the pet section, something minty. I can smell it 8 feet away with her mouth closed. I am sure she has an infection brewing.
