We are supposed to get 2 inches of rain tomorrow and it is not supposed to quit until Monday. Ugh. I am going to be working in the workshop. I hate it when it rains that much. I guess snow would be worse.

State of confusion. What state are you in? A cold one?

I take a bath every night.
And a shower every morning.
You non bath takers are nasty...How can someone go days without taking bath/shower.
YUK YUK and more YUK.
Find a close enough recipe online for me to look at.
I'd like to try it.

Gotta have that protective layer of dirt against the cold. You can use something like blue coat or sulfur to discourage itSo I have an egger that is molting and her shoulders are about bald, but have pin feathers coming in. Then one of my jerkface amberlinks keeps going after her & pecking at her new feathers. Should I cage up the egger until she's done molting to keep her safe, or should I just let them deal with it? Mine does the groceries, cooking, loads and unloads dishwasher and washes own clothes! No, you can't have him!
yuck how awfulGood for you Sam! I had a friend that got silicone implants and ended up with black gunk in the pockets and silicone in her system.
I'm wondering if I missed some eggs yesterday because I had a egg for every hen today and that has never happenedWhoa. This is SO COOL (for me. First timer, don't roll your eyes!)
But I just caught my lil Brahma bantam, Deila, in the act of laying an egg! I never saw that before.
Here it is, freshly laid...

She was in her nest box, and I heard this weird little hissing/squirting sound. Then she got off and left, and there it was! A freshly laid, warm egg! It was still partially wet, I could see the bloom (what I guess was the bloom) drying as I held it.
It was like a tiny little miracle! I'm silly, but I always thank my birds for their eggs.![]()
MeYeah, duh, I saw the cat.
But....I mean....your hair!
(and I eat a TON of eggs. That's my protein. Pickled, boiled, over medium. Whatever. Who needs meat?!)
