Official Squatch Watchers

I take a bath every night.
And a shower every morning.

You non bath takers are nasty...How can someone go days without taking bath/shower.
YUK YUK and more YUK.

I go days without bathing. For me, it wears me out and, at times, it's quite painful to my skin. I will say, at NO time do I stink.

Find a close enough recipe online for me to look at.
I'd like to try it.

Here's a SUPER easy, excellent recipe:

Crack Chicken

2-3 pounds of boneless skinless chicken of your choice
1-2 packs of cream cheese
1-2 packets Ranch Dressing Powder

Stick everything into a crockpot on low 6-8 hours. Shred and mix the chicken.

At this point I usually add in a couple bags of frozen broccoli or spinach and cook another 1-2 hours.

x2 what smuvvies said! I dislike the after bath feeling, but maybe I really am just a dirty northie. :gigGotta have that protective layer of dirt against the cold.

Summers are the exception. I'm out all day getting dirty then so showers are needed to remain human shaped and not mudball shaped.

So I have an egger that is molting and her shoulders are about bald, but have pin feathers coming in. Then one of my jerkface amberlinks keeps going after her & pecking at her new feathers. Should I cage up the egger until she's done molting to keep her safe, or should I just let them deal with it? View attachment 1259819
You can use something like blue coat or sulfur to discourage it

Whoa. This is SO COOL (for me. First timer, don't roll your eyes!)

But I just caught my lil Brahma bantam, Deila, in the act of laying an egg! I never saw that before.

Here it is, freshly laid...

She was in her nest box, and I heard this weird little hissing/squirting sound. Then she got off and left, and there it was! A freshly laid, warm egg! It was still partially wet, I could see the bloom (what I guess was the bloom) drying as I held it.

It was like a tiny little miracle! I'm silly, but I always thank my birds for their eggs. :)
I'm wondering if I missed some eggs yesterday because I had a egg for every hen today and that has never happened
