I will have to try those recipes once my birds are laying better.

I can do a bird in about 1:30.... only that's hours and minutes, not minutes and seconds. I stand in awe/jealousy of their skill. Here's Joel at Mother earth news fair. I do use the same equipment.
I spend a bit more time rubbing their neck once in the cone as it tends to put them to sleep.
Here's Daniel breaking them down. Still can't believe he is consistently at 1 minute 11 seconds per bird. Best I can do is three minutes.
It'll take me years and years to get even halfway good at turning squawky things to dinner as she is.My neighbor pickled green beans. They were a lot like pickled okra in texture.
If anyone likes the pickled okra but cannot get ahold of fresh okra I think its worth a go.
I think he used a pickling packet designed for pickles so no real recipe. I can likely find out what packet he used.
Hubby wants to go out to dinner. Something about a Mexican restaurant we haven't tried before.
I could send you a campfire scented candle frozen and packed in snow....I want a candle that smells like winter and smoke from a fireplace
For my recipe, I make up a big bowl of diced carrots, potatoes, bacon, onion, and garlic. I mix it all together and add a big spoonful to each jar. Then I add green beans cut at about an inch. Add a half tsp of salt and chicken stock (from my chickens). Then I pressure can.
