Did you post a picture yet? If so, I will go back and look for it, just too lazy and too tired now.

No I didn't take pics. She is adorable but my house is dark inside and pics look like crap.

I read about the chemically euthanized carcasses going into animal feed a few years ago. Really gross! Kinda like just serving up small doses of rat poison to our dear poochies and kitties.

I thought it had been outlawed. Seriously I thought that.

@Anansi thanks for a yummy breakfast. :love

showed her a landmark on the the front that will keep her in her lane
What does this mean?

She needs a 4 banger to start with.

You should see the high school kids around here...these kids have some nice cars.
no way in the world would I buy a brand new 8 cy anything for any of my kids.
Hoopties only.

Stacey,
The only one I have done is the soy sauce soak. I prefer to drip a bit of soy on deviled eggs too. Yes I find it yummy.

Kiki,
When I found the euthanized info a few years ago it was coming from sick cattle, sheep and other large animal carcasses. I cannot understand why they would chemically do them in then put in dog and cat food.
Fido won't be eating Fifi........I hope.
:sick:sick:sick:sick

Honest to Elon Musk they actually do wear actual stripper gear to do those dumb exercises. Shoes, thongs the whole kit and caboodle so to speak. I couldn't even sit through one hot yoga class due to all the fanny funk i definitely couldn't do stripper aerobics. The classes are open to men too, so there's that. Burla is making bank because of those ninnies, so be it.;)
I hope they disinfect the poles when the class is over. - ew.

I noticed today that the measuring spoon I have been using for the Corid powder for 1 week was 1/4 tsp!!!!!

The high from my facet injection wore off yesterday leaving me foggy headed and tired.

I will try to pop back in later! Trying to keep uo with everyone by scanning, but y’all don’t make it easy.
How are they doing?

Sometimes i think typing like i actually talk is a bad thing, i probably need better keyboard etiquette. :lau
I do the same thing.. Nothing worse than meeting someone in person and thinking 'I thought you were smart'.

Ok, around here when somebody dies we go around and pick up food and stuff that people who knew the deceased person have cooked and we deliver it to the family of the dead person. Reason behind this is nobody wants to cook when somebody dies That's what taking up a collection means here, at least when somebody passes. A collection is usually food but it could be bill money or even firewood, it just depends. :)
I got it. We do the same thing here. When my gma passed we had all kinds of random stuffs dropped off. Then we'd start giving people stuff to take home.

Well I just did a dumb dumb. I forgot to take the eggs out of my coat pocket. Can you guess what happened
Been there. I think you have to do it at least once to qualify as a real chickener.

Worst game of pocket pool ever?
Um... I thought it was pocket pull.. and ew.

Yeah felt pretty dumb I didn’t know I did it until I went to get something from my pocket and got a handful of goo :sick
That's an over-share.

Chicks and phones. What else are they for?
Snacks?

Some pet food companies use euthanized carcasses as a protein source. That's how.
They should be euthanized.
No. Just no.

How would that get in the food unless a worker dropped it in?
As others have said I would think from the cow/pig being euthanized with it. Just wrong.

Well, night one of DD#4 driving with permit, survived, she did pretty good. I took her on a very forgiving road, very little traffic, wide shoulders that make it equal to a 4 lane road, and traffic circles at both ends of the route. She decided she was done when I had het go a little further and she missed a driveway for a turn around and had to go on the main road to make the turn into the parking lot. I had the hazards on for her so othet drivers would be cautious. I don't want to throw her into higher volume traffic til she's comfortable with being able to stay in her own lane, cuz I don't want her to panic and over correct. Fortunately, I'm a calm teacher, and have been teaching her the rules of the road for several years, including showing her why you don't turn bright lights on in fog, and what it feels like to break traction and what to do when you do. I had her walk around the car with me, showed her a landmark on the the front that will keep her in her lane, went over all the controls, showed het where all the lights were, how to take off the gas cap, etc. Tomorrow, well go through the owners manual so she gets familiar with how to use it, and go over how to change a tire, opening the hood, oil and tranny dipsticks, brake, coolant and washer fluid, where all the tie stuff is located, and checking tire pressure. I'll also show her how to connect jumper cables, and make sue we mark the page in the manual that had the order and location of connection. I'll get a piece of duck tape to put an arrow pointing to where to put neg cable for getting jumped, and see if that mark also works for jumping another vehicle. We also get to practice cleaning battery terminals, cuz they need it. She should be a pretty self sufficient vehicle owner by the time she gets her own car. The most unnerving thing is that she's learning on an 8-cylinder, so more power than I'd prefer. I might be able to get her grandpa to get her a car when he comes out this summer, or he might give her one of his. Hopefully it would be his 6 cylinder suv.

Anyhow, enough of my rambling. Coffee's hot, zucchini bread, apple turnovers and thick crepes are on the counter, toppings are on the counter, in and on top of fridge. It's kitchen chicken time. I'll try to get some video for y'all so you can enjoy having chickens around for breakfast. They are allowed to have anything that is not on the taboo list, and Lizbeth will get excited, talk and stamp her feet if she likes you. You can pick either of them up and snuggle, they will love it. Just flip them over and hold them like a baby.
Are you starting a business as a driving instructor? If not you should! LOL I didn't get all that info when I started.

Green dollars!
I stash money in mine too.
With the bra talk previously I thought that's where you were stashing extra money.:gig

Hi guys. Just popping my head in, quietly; been off for a few days, just lurking.

We had my mom's memorial dinner Sunday(in lieu of any funeral or memorial type thing, cuz that's what she would have wanted) on Sunday, like 16 of us at the Olive Garden. I know it sounds weird, but we're not a normal family, lol.

I got her ashes from my sister in MD (that's where she lived) and ordered this urn. It's hand-made raku pottery and beautiful.

So, I've been kinda quiet and not doing much of anything. Today I am going to try to get my arse in gear and get off the couch, and get some things done. :)

I am taking it one day at a time.

I have been looking into getting Serama eggs. I've contacted a couple people and actually got back on Ebay (I know I know...trust me, I did my research a bit) and bid on 7+ eggs. I told DH "I need something to get excited about again, and hatching tiny little chickens will make me feel better and give me something to look forward to."

I am not being manipulative. (I'm not!! I swear!!) If I had sunlight where I live (I'm mostly in the woods) I would be starting seeds like crazy, but my first trial garden in this new house failed miserably last summer. Not enough sunlight.

There's something about growing little living things--seedlings, baby chicks, whatever! That helps with the pain of loss, and heals the soul. When my brother died, I got into gardening in a huge way, and it was my therapy. Digging in the dirt, pulling weeds, planting new life...the whole circle of life thing, I guess.

Anyway, it looks like--one way or another--I WILL be getting Seramas in 2018. :)

Little does hubby know he's gonna have to build me another coop and run, or we will have tiny house chickens, lol. :)

Yes! Hatch babies! Best therapy ever! I know this for a fact. I'll write you a prescription for seramas if need be.:)

Thank you, Dr. Chickassassin (or is that, Possumassassin?)

Can you give me an excuse for three weeks off of work, while you are at it? That would be marvelous!:highfive:
