If it was just a little poppy I wouldn't worry to much but I would keep an eye on her bum.

My super fluffy ones sometimes don't clear their feathers properly. Usually the next time they dust bathe they fix the issue.

If she does get a build up you may need to trim her feathers a bit there.

I hope she is not developing gleet.

Gleet is actually pretty rare. Most home diagnosis of gleet is actually a misdiagnosis of a laying issue like internal laying.

I know but today is the first time I’ve seen it. I don’t think so but it is a concern

She lays good 3 to 4 a week
