Prayers to you
Morning everyone.
Yumme crepes!

We are a toasty delightful -4 (ish). :rant

I miss my +10. :(

I will be driving hubby to the doc today. He fell on the ice at work yesterday and tore up his shoulder. At least he didn't bang his head.
Slick ice covered by a thin layer of snow is kinda hard to see.

Once home its gonna be cleaning and maybe working on the chair cushions for the glider rocker. I will of course be shoveling the drive and walks and chicken run etc etc etc.

Hoping no one else is freezing their taters off.
Prayers for your hubby & you, hope it's not to serious. Stay safe & warm :hugs

@apryl29 The bushes smell more like juicy fruit gum than banana, but the neighbors have one and they don't act like they want me taking cuttings so i just bought my own. Our molting hens are almost even Hobo just lost her last tail feather, rooster just wants to peck her in the head. The eyebrow thing, i had no idea it was called "filled in" I've got caterpillars on steroids so i don't know alot about eyebrows. :)
LMAO Yeah, I don't do that stuff either.. Too much work. Plus if I did my eyebrows I'd have to do the rest of it too. The most I'll bother with is eyeliner I have fine hair on my face so whenever I use foundation it seems to stick to it and look cakey. I guess that doesn't bother some people, but it annoys the hell out of me. I also have rosacea so I'd have to do full face makeup to cover it. I'd rather not walk around wearing a mask all day long.

Caterpillars on steroids! I almost wet my pants! I’ve got the Frida Kahlo look myself. I try to avoid the mustache look though.
I was w/ my bff the first time she got her eyebrows done. They did one and showed her the difference & she was said 'It looks like a baby caterpillar chasing a mommy caterpillar. I must say, I do like getting my eyebrows waxed. It hurts, but it looks really nice.

@apryl29 The totes are great. People warn to make sure they can’t tip them over. I have mine tipped back a bit and the ones without the lid have a wood frame around them to hold the shavings in. It’s great to be able to pick them up and take them outside to hose them out. I did have a girl sitting on one of them which she eventually cracked but I still use it. Just make sure no one can sit on it again.

My Ameraucanas are holding onto their eggs again. The smaller girl took the molt really hard and hasn’t started up again. Her sister was rather crabby during molt but started laying again only to stop apparently. Protesting this weather!
I have a couple boxes on the floor, but I think it would work for the 2nd one over. They only like the one in the corner, b/c it's more private, I presume. I need to enclose some of the upper row boxes so they'll start using them.. just haven't had time or desire to deal with it in the freezing cold.

Perhaps if I was, the instructions would make more sense! :lau FWIW, DH just informed me that the little glass metal tube thing is a fuse. Who knew?!

Yep, it apparently has a fan. From what I read from reviews, because it totally doesn't say on Amazon or in the instructions. My hub is convinced I am going to burn the house down...
Make sure you house insurance is up to date before you plug it in.

Well its a hibachi, not an incubator!:lau
Maybe she's making balute. :sick

Both are beautiful!!!

How in the world did you get a cockerel in your hair? :gig
It's happened to me before too! When Willie was little and was being mean to the others I took him home w/ me for a few nights. He'd sit on my lap or on my shoulder and would burrow in my hair behind my neck. I even have pics of him sitting on my head. He used to be such a good boy.. now he's a turdface.

Omg I rescued a pullet from chicken wire today! I blame the cockerel for chasing her, I guarantee it! Little horndog. I looked down and she was jerking, trying to pull her head back thru the hole. Thank goodness I saw her! She probably would have ripped her own head off. I carried her around for a few minutes to calm her down.
5-1/2 months old, weighs barely over 200 grams. I expect her to start laying any time now.

So pretty! Poor thing, those boys get so aggressive w/ the mating sometimes.

We are likely to get more rain tomorrow. Enough mud already!
We're lucky, we're supposed to hit 70 here today and it's only supposed to rain for a little bit, but it's soooo muddy.. but then rain the rest of the week. There's been a bit of flooding, ditches over flowing and such. Then tomorrow we get cold again.

So stinkin cute. Maybe I missed this somewhere but what do you do with the rabbits?
She breeds then sells them.
