Well. The boy made it without me from 8am (when he woke, I had already left to go into work) until he woke from his nap at almost 4pm without doing more than whining occasionally. My little boy is growing up. :hitI had gotten back to the hotel around 3pm, but he was napping, so I got back to work. I was expecting him to be a clingy, fuss monster when he woke, but after nursing and a diaper change he went right back to playing happily by himself. :yesss:.............:hit

Tomorrow we drive back out to the boonies. I’m debating just going home or stopping at Costco first. I think I really just need to get home. We have enough to get by.
 
After my unwelcome morning phone call i went back to sleep for about an hour.
Today i planted more winter wheat down by the river. Idk what ate it , but not much came up. This time i made sure every grain is under the dirt. We went for a walk to see some daffodils hubby found out there. Just one big clump. Must have been there a while.
I dug up some wild roses for a friend. Picked up a bucket of kindling. Chased the crazy Elvis rooster around the woods in the dark. Note to self, buy long handled net. I ended up chasing him into the barn and shut the door. He had a sparring contest with the other rooster and lost. What a day. I am beat.
