Official Squatch Watchers

If you aren't seeing signs of things gumming up around the pip, I wouldn't bother it. If it isn't hatched tomorrow afternoon I would seriously consider widening the pip at least. I started helping one of my last hatch about 5 hours after I saw the pip because it pipped in the side of the egg and fluids were gumming up around the poor thing's beak and nostrils. I don't think she would have survived if I didn't help. I also helped another when I saw blood and a malpresentation. He pecked through his blood supply. I don't think he would have made it either. So now I have 6 11 week old chicks running around instead of 4.
Mine hasn’t made any holes yet just a crack. I’m waiting for a hole at least
