Official Squatch Watchers

Does it matter if people come to me to get the birds, even if they live in another state or just if I'm transporting across state lines??
If they are carrying birds across state lines...it becomes their problem.

But honestly....how many times have you seen officials sitting at the state line demanding chicken paper work?

I've brought chickens in from other states twice. Once from a show breeder (adult birds) and chicks from a hatchery (NPIP certified, but I moved them over the state line).

You are allowed to move birds/eggs/chicks across state lines when they are from a NPIP place.

I've heard in some states it is really hard to get certified (like TX. I know about TX because I want to get LF white cornish from a guy down there and he can't ship because he is having a really hard time getting certified). Do you know anything about WV?

HELLO!
I am in Texas and it is NOT hard at all to become NPIP here.
Extremely simple actually.
Maybe he can't afford it.

Let me check my notes about WV...bbs.

Then he is talking about taking a course to become a "tester."

I have a list of this next years classes...I will PM you now so maybe you can pass it on to him.
But he does NOT need to be a tester to become NPIP.
I would love to explain the Texas rules to him.
