At least one duck and one turkey are now laying.

Hi squatchers!

Hope, your baby is ADORABLE :love
PBM your babies are also adorable!

I told my husband it is a very VERY good thing we are taking a week long trip next month. Because between all my friends hatching beautiful little fluffer butts plus all the cute pics in the easter contests... I want chickies so bad! But I can be strong if I know I will be out of town for awhile. Might be a different story when I get back :p

Is this normal? (looks like she's giving the finger, lol)

She got stuck. I already helped her out. :) I'm naming him/her Fergus, as s/he was born on St. Patty's Day! :jumpy

I'm up to 8 now, with another hatching as we speak! @WVduckchick

2 dead ones under my broody, the one hatching now I snatched from under my broody and stuck in the bator, one weak one in the brooder that I've been nursing....SO many chicks!

I wouldn't call that normal, but it happens. You may have to help it out eventually.
Bummer for the broody, but I bet if you pick a few, she will raise them for you.
I'm sorry you did so well and got so many chicks :hide

She/he's already out. Already walking around the brooder peeping at the new pipper. :) I know people are like "don't interfere" but I'm a vet, I've birthed alot of baby animals, I'm not one to sit back and do nothing!

Speaking of cutest babies, @Hope Hughes , your girl is gorgeous. Absolutely perfect. I've seen a lot of ugly babies in my time (I think most newborns are really freaking scary looking, and I'm very honest, and will just politely say "Wow, that's some baby" or something, lol) and she is really amazing. :love:love:love Congrats!
