Official Squatch Watchers

OK gang. Tried and true methods of dispersing flies, killing flies, repelling flies outside. They're almost covering the outside of one section of our house... the same section where the *ladybugs* were last month! Plus, a few wasps were mixed in too! This is the same side that the coops are on however, NO flies in the coop(s) or run.

HALP!!!

Fly traps. Bag kind. Like these—

They stink, they fill up, and they are gross when full. But they do fill up with dead flys! It’s the only thing I’ve found that works. I put one in the coop and no luck. Just outside the coop—:sick. In the house I use window sticky traps. They work on the lady bugs too.

And they had these egg collecting bags for sale.

Pancaking? Yep. Hold on a sec

IS SHE BROODY?
Thanks! I figured I'd keep an eye on her for a few days to see what she does. My daughter went to check on her before we left and said she gave her the stink eye from the roost. She also attacked my sebright Bantam when she dare to look at her too closely. We'll probably give her a few eggs if she keeps it up, but looking at the calendar the next couple weekends aren't good for us for setting eggs to hatch the beginning of April.

personally in my Coupe I use fly strips that that probably won't work for where you're having the problem. My parents have a fly issue in the summer and we use these and we use fly catching bags. They smell like rotting death but they work really well.

:rant:rant:rantAm I the only one who gets terribly ticked off when someone says they *can't afford* something for their animals?! And I mean, something that's only a couple of dollars. :rant:rant:rant

How can you have 3 dogs, 6 cats and a flock of chickens, but can't afford to get a bottle of molasses to make a DIY NutriDrench.... or even to send your dead bird into a lab to get a necropsy to possibly SAVE your flock?!?!?

I don't mean to rant, but I've read waaaay too many posts over the last couple of weeks that say this exact thing... oh I can't afford to send for a necropsy, I can't afford a can of salmon to help my ailing bird, Oh I REALLY hope the bird can hang in until payday cause I can't afford to get it the simplest of products to help, or maybe CURE it.... :barnie
