Official Squatch Watchers

Hey, has anyone tried using a stethoscope on chicken eggs? Someone suggested trying it on Emu eggs, but it should work on chicken eggs too right?

.... I already have a stethoscope.... Part of my Dr Mommy kit.

I thought about doing that on mine, but it was pretty much after they hatched....would be really cool to do!

It's neat looking.

I think I'm going to try it on my eggs that are supposed to hatch today (quickly). I'm worried about them.

Do it! I imagine it would be really cool. Mine, I just held up to my ear and could hear the peeping and clicking/scratching (so amazing it is!), but if you need to listen quick I would just warm up the small end with some warm water, dry it off and go to town. :)

Well, I didn't really hear anything other than white noise. Though the egg that I thought was dead was a lot quieter than the other 4 eggs.

I'm worried because today is day 21 and there is still a lot of lit up space around the chicks. They aren't completely filling the eggs. 3 definitely moved while I was candling them though.

I forgot that its totally pointless to perfectly line up eggs when you lock the down. I think it might be a late Thursday early Friday hatch instead of Saturday/Sunday because these taters are rolling. Bring it on derps, I'm ready. Actually prepared this time, they snuck up on me last time. ;)
