Official Squatch Watchers

I read something interesting about pregnancy brain before I had the Milk Drinker. The pregnancy hormones change the way our brain works, shifting energy away from logic portions of the brain and towards emotion and empathy. Pregnant women and mothers with kids under 2-3 years old tend to test higher on emotional IQ than the general population and higher than they did before they were pregnant. Apparently it is our body's way of preparing us to care for a newborn. I thought it made a LOT of sense.

I had read something like that too. I knew several pregnant ladies at the same time. One woke up crying because she couldn’t remember her house numbers. Knew the street name but couldn’t recall the numbers at all. Another was impatiently waiting for her toast to pop up. Needed something to settle her stomach. All hangry at the slow toaster she strormed over knife in hand—to find she forgot to push the bread down to toast.

I don't remember this brain stuff from pregnancies...but today I was at the grocery store and got so lost I didn't know what the heck I was doing.
So NOT like me.

Good evening peeps! Just popping in real quick, just got back from a wedding in NY... 5 hours driving total, yeesh! Gonna do all ,my catching up in the AM. Loves ya!

My friend the petsitter is taking 4 of my baby chickies tomorrow...I'm a little sad but she is super excited and has been wanting more chickens and is obsessed with my babies, so they are going to a really good home. Hopefully, we will have an evenish amount of pullets and cockerels!
