No I screamed at it mid-attack and the rotten, evil taterhead flew off in a flurry of wings. I would have punched it in the beak or drop-kicked it with no hesitation!!!!

Stupid taterhead hawks, got a ton of things to eat but nooo got to try for chickens.

Everyone loves chicken take out. That said, i would be there fighting the thing too. I have seen more than one hawk standing over a dead or half dead chicken. In TN i had two instances where a hawk broke glass and plexiglass to get at my chickens! So now i put hardware cloth over all windows. Sorry this happened to your girl.

Mind blown,my sweet little Lulu wanted to roost with the mean girls tonight. She's way bigger so I wasn't worried about that she's just so soft! But she hopped her big butt up and pushed right in. So proud,only took nearly a year.

I took a video of him (with as much of his face showing as I usually post, of course) but it is currently estimating that it will take over an hour to upload a 30 second video.




I'm thankful that I even have internet out here, but I hate how slow it is. I want my broadband cable internet back, without the DC Metro everything else, please and thank you!
