Ughhhhhh I have a cousin like that. Every time she comes around I know there's going to be major drama. Thankfully she knows I don't really like her. We can have a conversation, but I don't see her any more than I have to.@apryl29
No way will I be putting that stepson to work.
I don't even want him in this house. When he stayed with us years ago he was very disrespectful to everyone here and mean to my old dogs. As in mean enough to make the shep cry out in pain more than once.
The last time I saw him he was 24, on drugs and his dad was in motion to knock his block off. Literally.
I stopped that mess and gave him 30 minutes to pack his taters and hit the road.
To say I don't like him would be accurate.
Um... I need the whole story.Did i tell you hubby and i were discussing getting an elephant yesterday?Really.
We tried the self echeck place last time, but something is wrong w/ the computer and it won't work. It has to be run through, unfortunately the light comes on way to fast to just reset it. My dad has a code reader and we can clear it, but it comes back on in the time it takes to go down the driveway. I looked up the code and it says it needs a new EGR valve. My dad looked at it, but it's super rusty (old car)... Worst comes to worst I'll just end up w/ a 30 day tag. I'd wanted to get something "new" before we go to Atlantic City, but haven't had time to do any looking. You can go to a self e-check place and just say the light is off. Or unhook the battery and let everything reset. You'll lose radio stations and such but that should turn the light off. They will have to put the sniffer in the tail pipe but generally they pass. If they ask about it being reset just tell them you got an oil change and they cleaned your battery terminals.
I have a separate light to ignore for the oil change.Often the check engine light is nothing but a timed reminder to get the oil changed. My Honda has a way of resetting it by turning off the car if it is running, pushing the mileage reset and turning the car to on but not start. Wait 10 or so seconds and the check engine light blinks. You are done and the check engine light is off.
Different cars have different ways to do this so look it up for your car
If the light is on because there is a sensor issue, you have to fix the sensor. The computer will not go into the correct control mode if there is a sensor problem. It will run to rich by default and not pass the test
It's probably just that the egr valve needs replaced (the light's been on for a while) but it's the whole 'having enough time to work on it' part that's an issue. Probably should have done something sooner, but we were planning on replacing the car last year, but now we're at the 'eh, just run it til it dies' part... it's actually a decent car, but there's a TON of rust b/c Ohio. We were trying to find an identical car from the south w no rust where we could just swap out then engine/ do some work on it, but they were all just as rusty. Cars cost wayyyy more than they really should. Congrats!!!! They're adorable. And a second female has emerged![]()

Morning folks.
I now have a bloody giant cochin. Holy Hanna she's a mean one.
Gathering eggs in that coop now requires welding gloves.

And they aren’t all boys

I was tired and we were climbing the hilly part of the property . I told hubby we should put in a chair lift. We could use it in the winter for skiing. So he said, lets just get an elephant and make an elevator like Tarzan had. I argued it would cost too much to feed. He said, the woods are full of stuff for it to eat, or they can go eat at the empty 2 neighboring properties. So i am going to order a pair of elephants. They will be great for dragging and lifting logs!Ughhhhhh I have a cousin like that. Every time she comes around I know there's going to be major drama. Thankfully she knows I don't really like her.
