Morning peeps.
Taking a little break from BYC to study for the AP's and Regents, but I need some advice.
We're incubating 9 button quail and a goose egg(long story) in a farm innovators incubator. It held the temps beautifully, until Tuesday night, when it decided to flip out. The goose egg literally was hot to the touch. The infrared thermometer read 104* on the shell. The button quail eggs are technically in lockdown. One of the other teachers at school has this really nice incubator(like the Brinsea mini advance, only less digital) that he's bringing in today. My main question is do you guys think the eggs will survive? The temps are fairly steady now(but I still don't trust the darn thing) but only after yo-yoing for two days. After the first initial scare, it got down to 80* last night, and up to 102* several times(based on three additional thermometers and the infrared.) Also, do you think I should move the quail eggs, even though today is day 16? There are no pips yet... But that could mean they died... Arg!

I'll start on page 2267 when I get home from work.
