Official Squatch Watchers

Good morning all :frow
Rae, loved your post to the homesteading thread as well as your reference to Joel. Have you ever been out to his place? It's truly an amazing sight.
Thanks! No I haven't been out there. I would LOVE to get a tour one day. He is one of my "guides" as far as how to manage things.

When I was traveling back and forth between VA & TN, I would stop pretty much going both directions. Last time I was there I got to watch them process broilers in person. WOW, is all I can say. Daniel invited me to join on the evisceration station, but I would have really slowed them down, so I declined.

Hope, you are liked by more people here than you think, and I'm glad you're back and yakking with us again.
I hope so!! And I am too, I have missed my crazy chicken people!
My Home Away From Home!!

Gonna pop over and read the 300 chickens thread... this has gotta be good.... already started the first post and eye rolled a couple times.

TRYING to retrain my sleeping patterns, as I'll need to get me and PIC up a LOT earlier than we're used to, as his summer camp time is fast approaching... AND we signed him up for swim lessons... and they start an hour earlier than summer camp time! lol

Attempting to *cold smoke* some salmon that was on sale.....

Plain and salted:

Let them sit overnight... they are currently in a water/liquid smoke mixture in the fridge. Following THIS recipe mostly... just used a smidge less liquid smoke.
