Good morning everyone. Last night went MUCH better than expected. My method of night weaning recommends I start off by letting him nurse for a couple of minutes, but putting him down before he falls completely asleep. I keep this up for 3 nights and then move to just cuddling without feeding when he wakes up. 3 nights after that, I move to just patting and reassuring him that I'm there, but don't cuddle or feed him. Last night was the first night of the training. He woke up around midnight, I fed him for a few minutes and said "All done, go lay down." and he laid down between me and DH and went right to sleep and didn't wake up until 6:30 this morning. That was the longest stretch of sleep I've had in a good while. Hopefully the rest of training goes just as well.

Here is a video of the hobbled chick. I just gave it some food, which it didn't show any interest in and I'm going to be going out every hour or so to give it a drink. I'm not sure it is coordinated enough to drink or eat on its own. We'll see how it goes.

What kind are they?

So their feathers are like my black Ameraucana the green sheen is good the purple is from eating too much corn I was told this bye two breeders so I took the corn out of their diet and sure enough purple went away after molt who knew. I’m going to swap eggs with someone just wanted to know something about them

I didn't know that either! I'll have to check my aussie tonight. I know she has green, but never noticed purple. I think William has purple, but he's an OEBB. Very interesting.

Well, im not invited to anything ever again just cussed out both sil's as in told them exactly which parts of hades were nice this time of year and how long they should stay. Also got fed up and reported my bag stolen after the chaos. Im medicated and can't be held responsible for my actions, plus im just tired of these nitwit women trying to start stuff "almost typed correct word there oopsies!" Over nothing. Im much too old to play. Good news,the kids outside are slowly understanding not to sass the girls because it won't end well and Ray and Duece finally look like whole chicks instead of nubs with feet. Before anyone clutches their pearls too hard at my actions just know I actually showed restraint.

Isn't telling people off the best thing ever?! Now, I HAVE to ask.. you and hubs did check absolutely EVERYWHERE in the house and vehicle that it *could* be, right? Just don't want you looking like a donkey in the situation. Save for that, I think you did the right thing, it's been almost a week and there's just no excuse for why she hasn't returned it yet OR hasn't noticed she took it and contacted your husband about getting it back to you. I refuse to believe she didn't go through it and see that your phone is in the bag too. Ugh.. people.. I hope you're feeling better, otherwise.
