Official Squatch Watchers

Hi squatchers! How is everyone?
PBM LOVE the pictures of your tiny chickens.
Suzi so glad you got your flock of snowy minis. So sweet looking.

Anyone have plans for Memorial Day?
Just bought some stuff for my run expansion project. Looks like I will be work8ng on that in whatever free time I get.

Pssstt 21 hens I am starting to think we might be the sanest ones here. Humidity? Um no thank you. Desert dweller for life!

:highfive:

I prefer NOT to swim through the air!!

Not even 11 am and the weather has driven me inside.
:(

HOW do you people in wet climates survive!!!!

It is 75° and SOGGY at 45% humidity. I am dying in that. It feels like 90 to me. :sick

Taters, ya'll I cannot swim !!!

We don't have the heat and humidity combined. Our heat isn't that long during the summer, and we definitely don't have the sticky humidity. Our rainy season is fall through spring, but it's not constant, even though the rest of the country thinks it is. Yes, we occasionally need waders in the low lying areas, but it's usually transplants that walk around with umbrellas. Most native western Washingtonians don't bother. I'm a transplant, but I don't use an umbrella unless it's a monsoon threatening to wash me away in 5 seconds flat.

I feel like maybe, just maybe, I could deal with this type of humidity. It is heat plus humidity that is :sick So Anansi, you are also a sane squatcher :p

Suzi, they are SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Where did you get them? Thoreau is a gorgeous, proud little soldier boy. That chest! Just gorgeous...I would love a play date, lol! Your coop is really cute. Did you buy it or make it? Love the butterfly bush and flowers, too!
I wish it would freaking stop raining already so I could start landscaping my coop/run a bit...
Thank you! I got them from a lady in Streetsboro OH. Not far from FNF. Thoreau (or Thor as my DH nicknamed him) has started crowing also. It's hysterical.
My coop started as a pre fab and I had a handy man make quite a few modifications. I just added some window boxes/window pots. I'll attach a pic. Im really happy how it turned out. A lot of rain here too .....humid and sticky today
The Serama coop in the background and all the other girls checking out the new waterer.....acting like they've never seen one before!
