Suggestion for Odin's year, a 4x4 with an old mixing bowl nailed to it, then dig a hole to set it in so it doesn't tip over as easily. The hole only needs to be about 4-6 in. deep.

Cedar crest farm and feed. She has gorgeous heritage breed chickens. I also buy all my feed from her. It's all locally milled....no GMOs and all organic. Great lady......very knowledgable too

Well good to see everyone is having a terrific morning. Mine started out literally cock blocking, figured out if i distract the dork he forgets about being dumb. And on the strange and morbid front, one of the news anchors here got squashed by a tree not 20 mins after reporting on the dangers of saturated ground.

For those wondering ........

At 5 am woke to Sable barking like crazy. Hubby forgot to close the coffee pot lid last night. It was spewing hot water everywhere. Sable did not appreciate that.

Cleaned that up.

My old cat passed away during the night. It is sad but we expected it as he had major kidney issues. He was the black feral one. At least Boomer isn't hurting anymore.
Stacey. I know that was hard to read. I almost left that out but it was a real part of my rough morning.

While dealing with that Delilah (who had just been out) pooped all over the kitchen. She and Sable also spilled the full gallon water dish all over the living room.

Cleaned that up.

I buried Boomer under the hydrangea. He lived a lot longer here than he would have if we did not taken him in. He turned 16 just last month.

I think a drink is in order. I am out of OJ so straight it is.

Love you guys but I am going to take today off.

Great idea! We've got some old wood lying around. I might be super lazy and just put a piece of plywood on the bottom. Thanks!

Haha, if i had i bathtub i would be soaking in it. I do have a big storage bin, so that with a top on it will have to do if a lot hatch. I have 28 eggs!

I was worried he'd get squished. I saw it on the side of the road but when it didn't scamper into the bushes I did a double take. Pulled right over and helped him cross the street.
