Haha, if i had i bathtub i would be soaking in it. I do have a big storage bin, so that with a top on it will have to do if a lot hatch. I have 28 eggs!
That's what I used originally w/ my chicks, but they outgrew it in a couple of weeks. But that should give you time to get something up. It worked pretty well. I made the lid out of hardware wire and made it hinge so I didn't have them jumping out all over the place when I opened it.

Made a new little friend on my way out today. Trying to cross the road so I stopped to help.

Awww. It's so sad to see them squished on the road. People are so mean. I stopped for one, but it had already been run over. It was still alive. I moved it off the road. I hope it made it, but I haven't the knowledge or means to help it, but I'd read that they will sometimes heal on their own. :(

Planting flowers today, put in 2 rose bushes, and marigolds. The marigolds i started from seed, they are 8-12" tall already! Put them in the beds in front of the house. I pulled up a small hickory tree out of the bed, it is about 2 feet tall already. Put it in a pot, maybe i can sell it at a swap.

Yeah they were DOA, it is sad Mike Mcormick was a pretty good news guy. They always seemed to give him the crap jobs though, no execption this time.:(
Per CNN, the news anchor and the camera person in the car hit by the tree did not survive their injuries. I just saw that from the morning CNN newsletter.

For those wondering ........

At 5 am woke to Sable barking like crazy. Hubby forgot to close the coffee pot lid last night. It was spewing hot water everywhere. Sable did not appreciate that.

Cleaned that up.

My old cat passed away during the night. It is sad but we expected it as he had major kidney issues. He was the black feral one. At least Boomer isn't hurting anymore.
:hugs Stacey. I know that was hard to read. I almost left that out but it was a real part of my rough morning.

While dealing with that Delilah (who had just been out) pooped all over the kitchen. She and Sable also spilled the full gallon water dish all over the living room.

Cleaned that up.

I buried Boomer under the hydrangea. He lived a lot longer here than he would have if we did not taken him in. He turned 16 just last month.

I think a drink is in order. I am out of OJ so straight it is.

Love you guys but I am going to take today off.

:hugs
:hit:hugs:hugs

I am back on.
I worked on the mater cages and feel better now.
Nothing like taking a crappy day and turning it around.

I mixed up some purple paint and drove the taterhead neighbor nuts using my sprayer.

Pretty sure he hates purple given his dirty looks and mumblings. Guess what color I will be painting the bench!

I may have been drinking a bit when I made that color but whatevers.

I will miss Boomer. I miss all the critters that have passed through my life. I am ok. I have accepted things.
