I am not so sure. She has been reliably returning to roost every night for a long time. Suddenly she disappears. I am hoping she is on a nest.I'm sure she is fine. Roaming around somewhere being loud and not a care in the world

It must be a week by now. I give it 3 more weeks or so. If she is on a nest she should show up once they hatch. After that, i will just figure some varmint snatched her. I only had 4 hens to start with.
That would be awesome. I let the guineas out early yesterday and only got one egg. Today they will be waiting.
Im sure she is on a nest somewhere. Its that time of year.
She comes home with a bunch of little keets.
I know what you mean... the only way i get guniea eggs is when i find her on a nest...That would be awesome. I let the guineas out early yesterday and only got one egg. Today they will be waiting.
I let mine out between 3 and 4. I usually get 3 eggs that way.I know what you mean... the only way i get guniea eggs is when i find her on a nest...
I will be cleaning out the run extention amc convert it to a Guniea coop so i can keep them in it for a few days and get some eggs and get them used to staying in there, they free range and roost with the chickens. I used to keep them in until they all layed their eggs and then let them free range. Guess i gotta go back to that.

Omg....you aren't a dork. I do the exact same thing with my 2 favorite girls. I sneak them worms while gardening and tell them to stay quiet and act natural. So I guess maybe we are dorks!
Guys, I am such a dork I crack myself up.
Picture it. Today. Bubbles and her (now very big) babies are hanging out with me in the yard. My three other (mean) hens are foraging near by.
Said to Bubbles and the chicks “yeah, I’ve got the stuff. But not here ok. Some one might see us. Walk with me behind the coop. Now be cool everybody, be cool. No, don’t look at me Bubbles. And don’t look at Amelia either. Everybody act natural. (We make it safely behind the coop) Ok we should safe here. Here are your worms. I’ll try to sneak you another hit later![]()

My 2 little princesses in their feather tiarasAnd the little man. A very friendly broody + wormies for bribes means they are starting to warm up to me! Especially Peep. She even took a few bites of corn out of my hand yesterday

I know....and I'm proud of you. We sure had some tasty good food in Cinci. I'm craving that Indian food!!!
Good morning all.
I was just out catching birds. 7 of my Delawares should be going to a new home today. I love having those wire cylinders. They make great temporary cages.

After I eat breakfast, we need to start working on the garden. The plants are doing well, but the weeds are also doing well :-/
