I'm trying to find a video I took the other day. Caught DS heading out to feed the kids, it's a scene out of the pied piper... As he walks up to the logging trail, all the birds run to him and then follow him into the pasture for dinner. Still waiting for amazon pics to load.:he I have a love hate relationship with tech.

ETA: Here ya go...

Got a recipe to share? I, too, am gluten free.... no, I am not celiac or anything like that... but I tend to really REALLY bloat up BAD (and I mean painfully bad) when I eat gluten...
I have a black bean brownie recipe that is to DIE for, I just need to find it. I’ll get back to you.

Well, you all know me... So here's another very good recipe that most folks scoff at...
Baby Beef liver... Prepared this way, it's very soft and loaded with protein, iron and vitamins...

Start with a pound of your favorite bacon and fry it up in a deep (5qt) skillet. Slice up about four sweet onions. Once the bacon is done, add the onions and little salt and saute them until soft and lightly browned. Remove from grease and put with the bacon. I like to season the liver and flour with Tony's. Either way, season the liver and toss in seasoned flour, then fry it in the grease and put it with the onions and bacon. Use some of your seasoned flour to make a small amount of roux, you're going for a loose gravy that will thicken over time. Add a quart or so of chicken stock to make your gravy, then add everything back ensuring the liver is fully covered and simmer for 45 minutes to an hour. While it's simmering make mashed potatoes, whipped with sour cream and butter goes really nice with this gravy.

When it's done, the liver and bacon cut with a fork and melt in your mouth. You can also do it with chicken liver...

I think we discussed in the group one time many months ago the subject of liver and onions.

My husband hates it.
My kids hate it.

But oh my, those kids had it before they were born because they all made me crave it when I was pregnant with them!

I’d love to try yours @rjohns39 ! :drool

I like it too! Hubby is a no go.

My son and I both crave it.
 Low on iron as the cause?
