Ok, get this tater. I am saved from having to be the executioner which i'm totally ok with. I wasn't exactly jazzed to kill something. Hubs is my hitman, kind of worries me that he's so lazy but if I need something snuffed he's on it. :caf

Throw them in the freezer and turn them into sauce later.

Hi peeps! Had a great day at the swap today. I sold the three keets, all the polish chicks, 4 female quail, a jake turkey, 2 dozen quail eggs, and a dozen polish eggs. And i only bought plants, so less critters to care for. :wee

Over the 4th, my neighbor asked if I had a broody hen with chicks that I wanted to sell. Their granddaughter really wanted some chicks. I have broodies with chicks, but I want to keep all those hens and babies. So I came up with a different solution for them. Last week, I put a dozen mixed flock eggs in the incubator and I'll be taking one of my Franken-bators up to their house so their granddaughter can watch them hatch. I grabbed a few eggs from the hens I sold so they would get a nice mix of colors. I had to go into some of our older eggs so I set a dozen of them instead of the 8 eggs I was planning just in case some of the eggs didn't develop. Wouldn't you know it, EVERY SINGLE EGG is developing! :th
