So, went to bed last night with a little pain in my left ear. Woke up around 1AM with throbbing pain in both ears. Waited until about 0530 and woke the DH and kiddo to take me to urgent care. I have a double ear infection, and now on Amoxicillin. So, PIC is on day 6 of his Amoxi, I'm on day 1 and we're guessing DH will be going to sick call on Monday and going on it. Ha!

Chickens are being chickens. I swear, I have no idea what DH did to piss off Mighty Joe (our head bantam cock), but every time DH goes to feed him, I see Mighty Joe do this:

22 more fluff butts went to the brooder today, one stayed in the bator as I had to assist with the hatch.

I don't miss that sick part that comes with having kids around, but would love to see the grandkids.
Hope you all are better soon. I had so many ear infections they put a tube in 2 years ago and it's still there.

Grrrrr! He won't snuff the bird if i'm not going to eat him too. I am not eating that chicken! Fool knows I don't eat chickens I don't know let alone wayward chicken sons. He's flipping gaslighting me and I don't like it one tiny bit.

Woke up with a massive migraine this morning, stayed in bed all day. All day. Finally decided I better try to eat something. And I was out of chicken feed. By 7pm I still couldn’t manage to get upright long enough to drive and get feed. So surprisingly hubby tater did it for me!

Over the 4th, my neighbor asked if I had a broody hen with chicks that I wanted to sell. Their granddaughter really wanted some chicks. I have broodies with chicks, but I want to keep all those hens and babies. So I came up with a different solution for them. Last week, I put a dozen mixed flock eggs in the incubator and I'll be taking one of my Franken-bators up to their house so their granddaughter can watch them hatch. I grabbed a few eggs from the hens I sold so they would get a nice mix of colors. I had to go into some of our older eggs so I set a dozen of them instead of the 8 eggs I was planning just in case some of the eggs didn't develop. Wouldn't you know it, EVERY SINGLE EGG is developing!I'll offer to take the chicks back if they don't want to keep them, but I'm hoping they do want to keep them I just got rid of a lot of mutts.

Punishment for being so dang nice.

Too funny.... Morning all
I can't wait until I can afford to pay to have my lawn cut... Takes me two days with the walk behind and I don't do the area down the driveway... For my terrain JD want's about $5K for a lawn tractor. 4WD4WT.

ETA: The guy with $10K worth of equipment does it in like two hours.

Takes me a whole day with the z246 but with the heat I’m not needing to much
