I love dogs.
They are smart.
I love to teach them but I love watching them learn from each other even more.

She's a little too smart sometimes. :D
She knows the sound of my iPad locking. So she jumps up knowing I'm getting off the couch. She knows when I'm on the phone and distracted so it's time to get into a little mischief. She's a good dog over all. A companion that could keep up with her would be nice but I'm not sure I could handle another ACD. :thShe has learned some things on her own that crack me up. My favorite is when I'm trying to doze on the couch and I ask "Where's my Zoe foot warmer?" She hops right up and lays on my feet. Or I tell her "that stays outside" meaning the gross tennis ball she has mauled and played with till it almost doesn't resemble a tennis ball. I realize both things must have been said by me many times for her to learn them but that they are no where near normal dog commands makes me laugh. She used to test the ex all the time too. They would play ball in the house and he'd say "ok I'm done" and she would lay down, watching. A few swings of beer later she'd bring him the ball and he'd throw it again.:gigA few tosses and he would realize he'd been outsmarted.
