When it is hot they drink a lot of water and that makes the poo watery like diarrhea.I know, and thank you.That was my next course of action. I got back from my job interview and he's acting more peppy than I've seen him. Drinking lots, eating, and walking around! He's actually scratching around in the dirt and eating bugs as I type this; he was dogging the other hens for mealwoms! (usually he is a gentleman and tibits, now he's just stealing the food!) The past two days or so, he wasn't even walking around or going out into the yard when I let them range.
His tail is up a bit more too. Maybe it's just this godawful heat and humidity....I know if their poop is green it can mean they are starving, and he did lose a bit of weight.
If he's not improving tomorrow, I will definitely run a fecal.
