Morning buddyGood Morning all![]()
I was driving down a street in the neighborhood that butts up to ours the other day and saw a little tsc chicken coop ( tiny) in the front yard with a pair of chairs parked in front of it.Morning everyone.
I have been up a couple hours now. As I cooked breakfast this morning I couldn't stop laughing! Across the alley and 2 doors down they got chickens. The cockerels are learning to crow.
Now mind you we are smack in the middle of town. I will enjoy that sound while it lasts. I know it wont be long and they will be forced to get rid of them.
Lots to do again today....... There's always lots to do.
Have you gone over to introduce yourself?Morning everyone.

Are they going to do a follow up to see if it helps, or are you just supposed to go back if he doesn't feel better in x days?Took DH to the doctor this morning.
Blood work
Abdominal X-ray.
No ct which surprised the taters out of me, given his history.
Sent us on our way with a Rx. Bentyl?
Diagnosis: gastroenteritis.
He’s been in bed sleeping al afternoon. Well not all. On and off would be a better description.
I am exhausted. So is cooper.
not so loud or people might start getting the idea that we know what we're doing around here! Great job! That stuff is awesome... used it to make a volcano for my kid last year. While I was cleaning my coop I saw all the MILLIONS of holes/ cracks/ spaces in the coop... All in the corners/ sides.. They're extra airholes, right?I think the leak is fixed! Just had a heck of a storm and no water came in. All further construction projects will now be done with spray foam! My leak was where the two additions meet, so not only did I plug a crack I tilted the tin up into a curve a little bit so the water runs away from the wall.![]()
How? and Awwww <3Went out to make sure all the babies made it inside with all the mommas, and look where I find these 4 youngens! That’s at least 8 feet in the air, and a tiny little space

If that plan doesn't work it sounds like you have a few people here who might want it. But if all else fails and you want to toss it, try listing it on one of those buy/sell/trade sites... it looks really antique and someone might buy it.Plan for the oven is to make sure it can't be turned on then use it as storage. It's too cute to just rip out of the wall. It's also small and in a really dumb spot so I don't want to try and replace it.
Reminds me of my chicken saga... Hopefully it's not as bad as it sounds. I skipped to the end, how long have they been in transit? Mine went out Tuesday night, but didn't arrive til Friday morning [to OH from Iowa] though it looked like they sat over night in a distribution center in Milwaukee, then to CLE for a night, then Akron... which is weird b/c our mail comes from CLE so I think the Akron was a mistake scan. My arrival date was supposed to be Saturday too, according to my tracking info. They would have all probably been dead by then. Luckily it's nice and warm outside so hopefully they'll make it ok.
This person’s chicks are lost in the mail!

Good to know... someone was on the ball w/ that one. I hope they're not taking pics from the emergency section too! Some of those are traumatizing. Like if I knew then what I know now, I'd probably have about 17 less chickens.FYI, I asked about RR section pictures flashing across the home page. They will not be included, so anything posted here should not show up there.![]()
We do the same thing, but I always makes sure to move the chairs far away from the coop so nothing can use them to get on top. They probably haven't thought about predators yet.I was driving down a street in the neighborhood that butts up to ours the other day and saw a little tsc chicken coop ( tiny) in the front yard with a pair of chairs parked in front of it.
For a second it made me smile then I thought about all the predator possibilities and almost knocked on their door.
But then I got a grip on myself and made myself keep driving.
Who am I to tell them how to live their best chicken life?
I might anonymously put a note in their mailbox though and tell them to join BYC.
Lots to do, yep, same here. I just want to rest today but totally not happening.Morning everyone.
