We have a whole mess of dragonflies here. If I went out to the garden now, there would probably be 10 dragonflies zipping about above it.

Mantis are definitely aliens! You can tell by the way they look at you. LOL

We normally have a lot but are having way more than usual this summer. Love them.
Interesting that the chickens leave them alone.
They must taste bad.

Dragonfly city here there is a pond maybe 60 or 70 feet from the backyard so loads of dragon and damsel flies. I was playing with a huge robber fly last weekend, biggest one i've ever seen! Very tolerant of me touching it too.

So much pesticide getting sprayed.
