Yep, i'm going to get a few brushes I am pretty terrible about keeping them alive for long, mainly due to taking way longer breaks than I should or just putting them down and loseing them. What you need at the hardware store? ;)
Sounds like a hardware store run is in order!

While you're there........

Skipped a few pages to get here... my favorite paint brushes are the ones with the short and stubby handles they are perfect for a woman’s hand in my Opinion. When I take a break for the day or week or month I put it in a Ziploc bag rolled the air out of it and zip it shut and toss it in the freezer then when I need to do a touchup I just pull it out and let it thaw it works great!

Hey all!

I've been lurking periodically, but not posting. My SIL and I did a major house cleaning today. We each took a bathroom and literally cleaned from ceilings to floors. We also did a maintenance dusting on the upstairs and downstairs halls and ceiling fans. We did them 1-2 months ago, so it wasn't too bad. Then we tackled the living room, or the box room as we call it. When we sold my in-laws house about 2 years ago we boxed everything up and piled it in the living room. Since then, we've been slowly sorting through the boxes and getting rid of stuff. This year, I started brooding chicks in this room. I didn't realize until last week how BAD of an idea that is. There was a thick layer of chick dander on EVERYTHING in that room It was disgusting! We cleaned up 90% of the dust, but I have my last two eggs for the year set to hatch this week. In 2 weeks or so, we can shut down the indoor brooder for GOOD. I'm going to build a 2x10 lean-to off the side of my stationary coop to be my little-bitties brooder. I'm never brooding in the house again. I may relent in the most severe cold snaps, but only for the short term.

My currrent job situation is head spinning. I started cleaning houses with the ex’s step mom. (Who is now divorced from his dad) I hadn’t worked in years due to my anxiety and she needed a little help.
First it was 2 days a month then she’d ask if I was available to help at other accounts she had when they asked for something extra. Once the holiday season rolled around I was working pretty steady as everyone wants their house clean before and after a party.
Once I was more comfortable and wanted to find a steady job I got involved in a program that will help place people like myself. I interviewed at Sheetz and started working a few nights a week.
Got the office cleaning down and wanted better pay. A job interview at Dunkin Donuts and I started cleaning a manufacturing/office that was later dubbed “the hole.” I loved the people who worked there. The place was disgusting! I still have friends I made at that place.
Next job interview was at McDonalds. I knew I had the job when the guy looked at me at said “You clean the hole? Alone?!?” His company had previously had it as an account and couldn’t get anyone to stay.
I eventually left “the hole” and the company who I worked for that had it as an account. I stayed with the other 2 companies and somehow managed a 3rd job w/o an interview at all.
I keep odd hours but have the flexibility that keeps my anxiety low.
