Weird.... It kinda looks like her joint is popping in and out.... Could be just from how she is stepping and limping......

Maybe some anti-inflammatory would help keep things from swelling up......but then it would still be impossible to tell what is bothering her.

ETA.... ANTI to inflammatory. :rolleyes:

I need more coffee....

It looks like she has either streched or torn a ligament in her hip. It could have happened jumping down or mating Taterhead. Really the only thing you could do it bind it and keep her stationary until it goes back to normal but we know that crap ain't going to happen lol! Good news is even like that, she will heal and it dosen't hurt. She might always be a little limpy, gimpy though. Totally agree with @21hens-incharge, you might want to give her a little baby asprin so it dosen't swell. The more it swells the more it will heal out of the normal position. I had a roo like this, he healed out of position but I didn't know his hip was funky because for about a week he couldn't stand up "his mom had a new brood and beat him up really bad."

Everyone picks on Polish. I think they figure those feathers on their heads are abnormal.
 
I was thinking the same thing about something popping out of place. So I held her and moved both her legs around. Flipped her on her back (She loved that!) and did the same. Felt them both and bent them systematically... didn't see or feel anything abnormal.
Would a sling help? She roosts with everyone else so she's getting around fairly well. I hate to say it but I don't have time for hospital care right now. Can't trust someone else to it either that's for sure.
Wrap her an ace bandage? Pull that leg in snug to her body? (Like that would last)
Aspirin and turmeric I can do.

Maybe put her in a cage so she can rest whatever is bothering her.

My concern with that is with everything going on with the move (yes STILL) and me not being around as much as I'd like, it could not go well.
"You didn't tell me that one needed extra care." He's not that dumb or heartless but I'd still be worried.
