Wow, they are pretty! Love your cockerel.
Mine started laying last Wednesday at 21-1/2 weeks. A few days later I got two eggs in the same day. Today I got 3!!
With a couple of my BCM eggs over the weekend:

the right half of my coop is now occupied by 5 of my Tolbunt Polish!
I worked on putting up more perches, stapling more hardware cloth and working in run #2.

This! They only become visible in the fall. The girls have white butts boys have orange.Jimmy is orange .They're also called cross spiders since they have a butt cross.View attachment 1543195

Very Pretty Spider!

We have garden spiders that are similar--They are out all spring and summer

Oh wow....awkward! I don't mind spiders at all. I think they're kind of beautiful. Iv'e had quite a few tarantulas and even now iv'e got a pumpkin spider named Jimmy outside the bedroom window. Iv'e even got a little spider tattoo about the size of a quarter above my belly button I got as a teenager. More spiders for me I guess.

I watch him eat bugs all the time I don’t know what kind it is but I like to watch it

I took the chick brooder out of the barn , sprayed it down, scraped it off, sprayed on a dilute chlorine mix.
Tomorrow i put longer legs on the brooder, metal over the seams on top, and put the chicks in it. They are growing so fast!
