I NAILED the interview!!!! It went so excellent I couldn't believe it!

And when I got home, a couple hours later, they called me back and said it was unanimous that they all wanted me, the principal left a VM saying make an appointment with the school superintendent, and I have it for tomorrow!!!!!!!! Second interview!



I have been looking for a new job for, like, a year now. And I left my old one 7 months ago and have been subbing sporadically ever since. This is great news!!! After all the bad stuff that's happened in the past year, I'm really ready for some good news.

I NEED to work. I will get this job. It just felt right.

ETA: They said, when I was there, that I would hear back from them by Friday. And on the VM the principal left me, she said that they all went out for lunch, that I was the topic of conversation, and it was unanimous!!! They didn't even wait till Friday, and it doesn't seem like any of the other interviewees were in the running!! Too cool, about time, YAY!!!!!!

So.... I found out why my house skirting is free floating...... The house is on quarry block piers. They had nothing to attach the skirting to. I'm considering doing a cinder block wall now instead of skirting.

Those are some big honking blocks on the oldest section of house.

Get this though, the newer, back section of my house... rests on uncemented cinder blocks!!!!
