From the reports we got it sounds like everyone is ok.

Cold here again/still this morning. Weird weather for us. We are usually in the 60-70° range this time of year.

I am hoping Smuv is ok where she is too. The panhandle is quite a mess so her drive could get interesting.
THis is good news!

No, I'm going to start fishing here. This fall when the weeds die off I'm going to find my way down to the river. My property butts up to the Cumberland river but never found my way there yet. So once the tall weeds die off, I'll put my chain saw, gas, log jack, etc in my gator along with my gps & will go off exploring.
Sounds like fun!

I have an oak down on the path to the back side of the mountain. I started working on it last year, but needed the log jack to finish. So once I can find the path again, i'll be heading up there and trying to find my way down. According to the map, I've got about a 1/4 mile of river front. And my neighbor has about a 1/2 mile. weird how they split up the property.

Be careful out there, if you go alone, make sure to wear something bright and check your phone to make sure it keeps signal and such. Let somebody know exactly which way you plan to go. Don’t want you getting hurt or lost!

He is so cute Stace. I love him. :love And I am totally not a cat person. At all.
@Suzi18 I know we were all just talking roofing for your run. TSC has their 16' x 4' feedlot panels on sale. (A whopping $1 off) But you don't need the head room of a deep bend. Thought maybe 2 of those with just a slight arc could work.
Throwing it out there...
I looked for the chart on what bend makes how high of an arch to cover said distance-- I didn't find it.
Thanks so much. A dollar saved is a dollar earned.

This is why I live where the wind makes my skin sting. I still have skin when it's done.
No deadly earthquakes or hurricanes. No out of control wild fires. A tornado here and there but no widespread devastation. Had a flood over 10 years ago. Worst I remember in my lifetime. Pretty mild weather. I've got enough to worry about.
So true Nunny. I tell people the same thing. We occasionally have blizzards but we enjoy a day snowed in
