So this is what they are. I bought them on clearance at Walmart for like $2. What I like is that they are a little stretchy so I can pull them tight and know stuff isn't moving. Also, I cut a bunch of them in half and they still work. With the arrow shaped they can be a little difficult to undo but I twist them a little and it's much easier.
I used these to hold fencing to u poles and 2 years later none have broken.

Those are freaking awesome!
Reusable makes them a great bargain.
I will have to be sure to get some before gardening season......they would work great for my temporary fences.

I originally got them because they were so stinking cheap. I've found tons of uses for them. The fence I use them with is moveable. Part of my "safe ranging" chicken run. When I wanted to move it I undid those and stuck them in my pocket, rolled up the fence and moved the poles. Put everything back in reverse order. I swear I've lost more then have ever been damaged. Two seasons they've lasted with no problem.

ETA: I find them in Walmart by the electrical department. Usually on an end cap by extension cords and such.

Well ya'll the storm is gone, it quit maybe an hour after I complained about it lol! I've had clear sky and just a tiny breeze. I'm glad, they were saying 35mph wind with 60mph gusts. Doled out a bunch of those worms, got bit a whole lot. They act like I don't feed them when iv'e got those. Everybody is happy except for Hobo, she dosen't like them only mealies. I've gotten those the last couple orders though and they don't last just way too small.:)

I thought about making a waterer with the little cup style nipple thing. I just didn't see a reason since the chick waterer works fine. She's just being difficult. LOL

Sometimes they are just little taters. :hmm

I am battling the dominant nature of Malamutes.
She has taken to snapping at Sable lately.
I have a feeling she will be spending time in her crate.
I just cannot tolerate such taters.
