It sounds amazing. I assume it's all over amazon. I'll have to invest in some.@apryl29 It is a mexican pomade. It is the shiznit. Not the fru fru stuff they sell for beauty. The real stuff comes in a gnarly black plastic jar it looks like dirty vasaline and smells like motor oil. You'd never think it was helpful based on all this but can't beat it for wounds and burns.![]()
At least they did the stitches while you were out. Hopefully you heal quickly. X2 on the peri bottle. Used one after having each of my kids and it was amazing. The hardest part is remembering to fill it up before you sit down. The other hand is better but not 100 percent yet. They removed the stiches while I was under and I have slight bruising still. The next couple days will be the worst so I'll have to wear very loose pants that I can pull up and down easily or just live in nightgowns for a few days. And yes......wiping is a challenge.![]()
I think most of us fit into that category... I keep thinking I need to get my shoulder taken care of, but then I'd need to have someone to drive me home.Lol yes probably......I'm a tad stubborn and hate asking for help. Hubby has been very helpful though
I'd think they'd think they were maggots and go crazy for them. I was tossing down bits of mackerel last night, trying to give my 2 molters a bit extra since they were being chased away from the bowls and every time I'd toss a piece down the idiot would run away. Of course everyone else would run towards it. They're a bunch of scaredy cats.Wanna see a full grown rooster run away from a pile of rice?View attachment 1570120
Dovey's got those sad shoulder pin feather's too. They look like sad porcupines. This is what is left of Marlene. Iv'e got to admit she's the pinkest thing iv'e ever seen. Can't wait until she's her mean self again, she is just so sad and mopey. Her molt actually looks painful, her feather shafts are huge. And she's growing spurs, isn't that nice?View attachment 1570175 View attachment 1570176 View attachment 1570177
Jealous. I've been getting 3-4 eggs a day out of 11 girls who actually lay. I've been tossing out scratch at night b/c it's been getting so cold, hoping to keep them a bit warm, esp the molters. I just want to grab them and stuff them in my coat to keep them warm, but they don't want to be touched.Ya know...... For molting mine are still laying pretty well.
In the coop with 21 birds I got 14 today. That's better than when I had the nests full of furious fluffed up broody beasts.
A few look rough but many are finishing up the molt.
Poor Windy is full of pin feathers. She is not a strong bird. Ya know.....the ones you always expect to fall over dead.
She is one of the 2 remaining tow yard chickens. Millie is the other and although not laying is still doing well.
I have to special feed Windy. She doesn't hold weight if I don't.![]()
