You got a pig mentor? That is just neat as mud.:)
Thanks I know who to ask... I know my mentor trains them early on to the wire, but have never figured out how to do that while they are still nursing. I guess my problem is I want Mom to wean them rather than me.

I had 3 guinea hogs, and i got them when they were small. I kept them in a chain link kennel until they got bigger, then i put a solar charger on one of the t posts. I ran two wires all the way around the pasture. The pond was in the middle. I built them a pen out of pig panels, and inside it was their shelter. At night i would lock them in the pen. During the day they ran around the whole pasture. We only had maybe 2 escapes. And they were trained to come when i called them.

But what if the hog ring hit the hot wire? That would be all sorts of bad wouldn't it? :idunno
Pigs learn fast so it would not happen much. It would be similar to the pig as hitting the wire without the ring

Publix coffee tastes like they swept it off the floor of an equally awful coffee factory.:sick
I roast my own coffee beans. I have been since the early 1980s. Last year my roaster broke and I had to purchase coffee beans until the parts were delivered.

It was shocking at how bad the coffee beans I bought were. I finally found a local roaster that had the good stuff

You grow them?
I would but there is no place in the US that has the correct climate. I buy them green from sweet Marias--They are in Oakland, CA
