Official Squatch Watchers

I went a bit crazy hatching this year. Come spring, I'll thin the cockerels and old layers and hatch some more...
You must have quite the feed bill! Luckily i only went crazy hatching quail, i sold most of the guineas and chickens i hatched.

Hopefully Gladys feels better. I was massaging her crop and could tell it was full of gas. She was burping. I offered her water and she got a big drink. I could hear it gurgling in her crop. So I thought I would try and get more of the gas out.
She promptly puked. I tipped her head down and tail up and :sick.

2 hens, and maybe 3 eggs per week. Gertrude is still molting in stages, she's finally losing the last section of old feathers, and Lizabeth hasn't been laying s much with shorter days. I'm not fussed, simply because I'm not in it for the eggs, as long as they're healthy and happy, I'm happy.

I have a total of 19 chickens, but 5 are babies, two are cockerels, and 3 are broody. So I have 9 that are actually laying, and I get about 4-6 a day lately. I guess that's good compared to what you guys are getting!

BTW, good morning everyone! Happy Saturday!!!:caf

I just love you Anansi, with your eggless house chickens and your pigeon! :love You're the bomb.

How is Chad, BTW (and I love that you have a pigeon named Chad. I don't know why, but it cracks me up. So refined.)

I've got about 30 laying age and getting less than a dozen per week. I have 50 or so near POL and another 150 behind them, but way too many cockerels. I'll thin in spring.

Wow, what a bunch of freeloaders! Bob, I know I asked before, but my memory is a sieve, lol....what do you do with all those chickens?
